The Ghana Teacher Licensure Examination (GTLE) is conducted by the National Teaching Council (NTC) to ensure teachers meet professional standards. If you plan to write the exam, here’s how to register successfully.
1. Check Your Eligibility
•You must have completed a teacher education program from an accredited institution in Ghana or abroad.
•You need a valid Ghana Card and other identification details.
2. Buy a Voucher
•Visit any Prudential Bank or use Ghana Post to purchase the GTLE voucher.
•The voucher contains a Serial Number and PIN Code for online registration.
3. Visit the NTC Registration Portal
•Go to: exams.ntc.gov.gh
•Click on “New Registration” to begin.
4. Fill in Your Details
•Enter your Serial Number and PIN from the voucher.
•Provide your personal details (name, date of birth, contact information).
•Upload a passport-size photograph with a white background.
5. Select Your Test Centre
•Choose a preferred region and test centre close to you.
•Note: Test centre changes are usually not allowed after registration.
6. Confirm and Submit
•Review your details carefully before submitting.
•Print out your Examination Slip — you will need it on exam day.
7. Prepare for the Exam
•The GTLE usually tests you on:

•Download past questions and study materials from the NTC portal or other reliable sources.
